My wife and I are part of a travel group and I was excited to try an experience totally out of the box from our usual vacations. The ranch is beautiful, clean, but the true gem is the staff. Their customer service rivals that of Disney. Five stars!

We loved our experience. Everything from the pickup to the food, the wranglers. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The horses are well cared for. They have a horse for every style rider. Safety is important, they check stirrups and comfort of riders at multiple points during the rides. The food is very good for serving a large group. The gradens are beautiful and the ranch pristine.

The staff here really make the experience. Not only do they offer an authentic dude ranch experience with horseback riding and roping they have added amenities to help you unwind and relax including a hot tub pool and game room. The food was well prepared and aplenty. If you visit Tucson, I'd highly recommend stopping by if not to stay over to have a meal and visit their gift shop. Don't forget your boots and cowboy hats 😉

Could Have Stayed More Than Four Nights…
This place knows how to do things! A very experienced horseman was among our group of friends who visited this ranch. His knowledge regarding horses endorsed our first impressions of how well the horses are cared for, the quality of the wranglers, and the quality of the entire operation. Every person that we met from the front desk clerks to the wranglers and all in between treated us with such respect, helpfulness, and kindness as if we were all honored guests. We participated in so many activities from painting to riding, to archery, black powder, climbing, fantastic breakfast rides or meeting the group at the riders at the breakfast spot, to the wonderful meals served on the patio or in the dining room, the awesome pool for cooling down, the yoga class, and talked with the kind ladies at the gift shop. I know I am not thinking of everything as I write this. We also booked and paid a nominal charge for a great jeep tour of the desert on the ranch and our tourguide was Kurt from Traildust tours. That was also fantastic! Worth every penny. We did our tour with Kurt and carried the things we learned from him as we went to other places on our trip through Arizona. Thank you White Stallion Ranch! Your attention to detail and to making your guests feel relaxed and special will always be remembered. A special thank you to the wranglers who help older and less agile riders mount and dismount with ease and make us feel young again!
Best True Ranch…
We so very much enjoyed our first riding and guest experience in September that we immediately reserved another full week in October 2023. After our final day of riding, eating and relaxing we have booked another full week in May and another week in October 2024. If we could give 7 out of 5 stars that would be our rating.
The staff are amazing, the food is exceptional and the wranglers are great at providing riding lessons, guided trail rides and knowledge about the horses and the ranch. Every member of the True family is highly visible and approachable. Everyone is treated as a valued guest! We stayed in a King cabin and it was wonderful! Everything we wanted and more! The wranglers do a great job of matching riders with horses and you get to continue to ride your favorite horse throughout your stay at the ranch!
Guests travel from all over the world to stay and ride at the White Stallion Ranch. The afternoon ranch rodeo event is a great opportunity to learn a lot about rodeo events, ranching history, horses and cowboys and cowgirls. Russell True is a great master of ceremonies!
We are also going to ride at the Circle Bar Ranch owned by the True family in August 2024. We are RAVING FANS! Slow rides, fast rides, all day rides, team penning, and more! YEE-HAW!!!

Paradise Found!...
This ranch was fantastic. Everything was well organized. The accommodation was great and the area with the horses and all the activities was simply paradise. The food was also well organized, something for everyone. You could tell that it is a family business run by very dedicated people with an eye for detail. booking the activities also went very smoothly. This was possible via an app and you could only book it a day in advance so that there were always equal opportunities for everyone to participate in the popular activities. The massage from Shane at the spa was also very good and professional. Wonderfully relaxing after all the horse riding.
Single Female Point Of View…
If you are looking to tick off a bucket list adventure then this is the place. As a lone female I felt safe and was well taken care of.
Staff were amazing, horses treated so well, rooms clean and cozy, food was freshly prepared and delicious.
Business Meeting Point Of View…
We came with a group of 30 for a business retreat. Carol was great with pre-organizing. A room was available for meetings and speakers. Everyone enjoyed the activities the ranch offered and had a great time swapping stories and pics.

It was wonderful to be greeted by Dakota each morning for a great breakfast. The hacienda was clean and well maintained like the rest of the grounds and common areas. Best Girls Trip Ever!
WS Ranch by far exceeded our expectations in accommodations, service, food, amenities, and activities. The staff was exceptional, extremely accommodating and friendly. The meals where phenomenal! All of the Wranglers are knowledgeable, friendly, and so attentive from beginner to advance rider ability in our group. Shane and Mary’s massages in the Spa are top notch. The Hacienda accommodations were very spacious, beds were comfortable, amazing views, and the horses right out our front door. We are already planning our next trip out!
Totally Awesome Family Vacation
I am so happy I selected White Stallion for my family vacation. It was wonderful, and I can't say what I loved the most! I will say the grounds are prettier than shown on the website. The gardens are so beautiful; I loved sitting outside in the shade watching the birds fly in and out of the saguaro holes. We can't wait to go back - it was so sad leaving...we loved our horses and the looping! I rode a horse before (I'm 56) but was a little timid with fast riding at first, but I loved it! The ride to and from the airport was a huge bonus! It was our first trip not having to rent a car. Thanks White Stallion. We will be back.
Best Ranch Experience – No Car Needed
Everything about this place was amazing! The staff and wranglers are so friendly and will do just about anything for you.
When we arrived, our driver from the ranch was already there to pick us up. When we got to the ranch around 10 am our room wasn't ready yet (and we didn't think it would be). They gave us a tour of the place, showed us where our room was and told us we could use any of the facilities. By 12:30, our room was ready and they brought our suitcases to the room. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed!
The food was amazing and they have gluten free and dairy free options. There wasn't anything that I didn't like - absolutely delicious. Water, lemonade, ice tea, flavored iced tea, coffee, tea, fruit and pastries were available whenever we wanted them.
The wranglers were all very pleasant and patient as I hadn't ridden in years. They gave me the same horse every time I rode - that way I would be familiar with the horse and the horse knew me. We did a lot of riding and it was so much fun!
Check out is at 11:00 but we didn't have to leave until 4:30. They allowed us to eat and use all the facilities until we left. Susanne in the office allowed us to shower and get ready in the spa center so that we would be clean and ready to go for a wedding we were attending that evening.
The gentleman that gave us a ride to the wedding venue, that was 15 minutes away, came in 1/2 hours earlier so we could be on time for the wedding. Thank you to him!

Family Highlight Of The Holiday
Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Accommodation, food, activities and staff all exceeded our expectations. Was a truly wonderful stay! A definite if you’re in the area - and even if you’re not!
Can’t Wait To Return
The White Stallion Ranch were fabulous. I took my grandsons age 11 and 13. They were not experienced horse riders but the staff took care of my boys. They rode.twice a day fast rides, flat and mountain trails. It was a great vacation.

This was the best holiday ever.
All the staff and Wranglers were so friendly, all ways happy. Lots of things to do. We went Horse riding twice a day, also did Shooting, Archery, E-Biking and Hiking.
Food was excellent food, We had three hot meals a day.
The room was large, well furnished and very clean.
We would highly recommend The White Stallion Ranch.

Great Place For Families With Teens
Great place to go with teens. There was a ton to do during the day, although you do have to get up early to sign up for activities (no problem for us as we are early risers). we were there during the pandemic, so there was not a lot to do after dinner, as they only had one activity during the 4 days we were there. The food was not great, but not bad either, just average - and not a lot of healthy choices, but we didn't go for the food. The horseback riding was good and fun, e bikes were great, archery and all the other activities were great, supervised and the staff was incredibly helpful. The bar is an honor bar and there were plenty of places to sit both indoors and outside. We would definitely return.
This Is A Real Wild West Experience
I’ve loved the White Stallion ever since I first visited in 1968. The ranch has been owned and operated by the True family for decades, and they are present daily working and welcoming their guests.
You get to experience slow and fast horse rides up into the picturesque mountains, cattle penning and splitting, breakfast and wine/cheese rides, and a real rodeo. I particularly enjoyed being able to ride and bond with the same horse every day.
Other activities on the ranch include rifle and pistol shooting, archery, desert outings on e-bikes, arts and crafts, swimming, and spa services to relax and recover! There are plenty of activities for children including riding, basketball, a wonderful petting zoo, playground, and a lovely game room.
The meals are wholesome, varied, and quite good considering they are feeding a whole colony of guests. I particularly enjoyed having full board, and not having to search for a restaurant each night. Every evening after dinner there was entertainment ranging from star gazing, a looping show, and a singing cowboy around a campfire.
The rooms are quite comfortable, clean, and generally quiet - except the night we heard anguished cow cries. We learned the next day that the calves had been weaned and separated from their moms. Poor babies!! Other than that, it was always a joy to wake up, open the blinds, and see the horses waiting for us… hoping to get a treat!

Fantastic All Inclusive Ranch Experience
The initial goal of my trip to Tucson was to explore Saguaro National Park. I found White Stallion Ranch while looking for places to stay near the park. This was also my first solo vacation and I was a bit nervous. I am also a pescatarian - a potential challenge for a ranch but not here. I had delicious options available to me at every meal. My stay turned out to be the experience of a lifetime. The rugged beauty is matched by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and incredible attitude of everyone who works there. Another Wonderful Week With Family At White Stallion
I returned for the second time with my brother and sister-in-law. We had such a great time last year that we wanted another trip here. For people who live in the city, this is a total change of pace, and a welcome one. We had our same casita, a two bedroom. The food was true ranch style with a nice variety, and plenty of it. I especially liked the morning breakfast rides, and the afternoon beer and chitos ride, as you got a break and some good food before riding back. There are many other activities, such as archery, pistol and rifle range, hiking, and e-bike rides, which I had never tried before. There is also a nice pool and hot tub, exercise room, and nightly entertainment after dinner. Many thanks to Russell and Steve True for taking such good care of your guests. Also, the wonderful Wranglers and staff. All want you to have a good visit, and they succeed!
