White Stallion Ranch is the easiest ranch to get to in Arizona! We are uniquely situated between Phoenix and Tucson, making White Stallion Ranch accessible from Arizona’s two major airports.

Depending on your arrival city and the duration of your stay, several transfer options are available:
- Tucson International Airport – FREE transfers for full American Plan package of 4-night stays or longer.
(Other rate packages and /or shorter stays – $25.00 per person, per transfer) - Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport – Rental car or
Groome Shuttle (Our van will pick you up at their Northwest/Tiffany Loop station)
Marana Regional Airport, also known as Marana Northwest Regional Airport and previously known as Avra Valley Airport, is a non-towered, general aviation airport about 15 miles northwest of Tucson, Arizona in Marana a town in Pima County, Arizona. It is the gateway to southern Arizona and conveniently adjacent to dude ranches, resorts, spas, shopping and golf.
The Marana Regional Airport (AVQ) is classified as a general aviation reliever airport for Tucson International. It is located approximately 15 nautical miles northwest of Tucson and is 5 miles west of Interstate 10 on Avra Valley Road. The airport is home to more than 260 based aircraft and had more than 90,000 takeoffs and landings in 2014. The airport’s main runway is 6,901 feet and the crosswind runway is 3,892 feet.
Packing for a ranch vacation is a little unique. White Stallion Ranch has a casual, outdoor atmosphere so you should dress comfortably for the duration of your stay. Here are some suggestions for what you might need on your vacation at the ranch. Your needs may vary depending on the time of year and length of your stay. For your convenience, we have a coin-operated laundry facility.

Jeans* – Pairs for riding and pairs for evening/daytime wear (Dressier clothing is not needed for evening or other activities)

Shorts/ Skirts – Not formal; depending on time of year and weather conditions
T-shirts/Sleeveless tops/Comfortable shirts*
Long sleeve shirts* – Depending on time of year and weather conditions
Outerwear* – Jackets and layers are suggested
Walking/Hiking shoes – Optional
Riding Boots – Or closed toe shoes for riding, boots are Not compulsory
Chaps – Personal preference; not compulsory for riding
Sandals/Flip flops – For the pool area
Tennis attire – No black soled shoes are allowed on the tennis court
Bathing suit – For the pool / hot tub – Terry cloth robes are provided
Bike Shorts / Tights / Underclothing – To minimize possible chafing from riding
Hat / Stampede string* -all hats must have a string when you are riding, including baseball caps
Sun Protection Items* – Sunglasses, Lip balm, SPF 15 or higher Sunscreen, After-sun moisturizer
Gloves for riding* – optional
