Meal service includes plated breakfasts and buffet-style lunches and dinners. This role requires attention to dietary needs, food safety, and teamwork to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

In addition to food preparation, cooks are responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with Pima County Health Codes, state regulations, and ranch standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare from-scratch meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Execute plated and buffet-style meal service with attention to presentation
Accommodate dietary restrictions and special meal requests
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards
Follow proper food storage, handling, and safety procedures
Collaborate with team members on menu execution and buffet setup
Ensure all foods meet required cooking temperatures per health code
Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook, chef, or in a comparable role
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and scratch cooking
Understanding of dietary restrictions and menu adjustments
Ability to accurately measure, season, and cook according to recipes
Knowledge of safe cooking temperatures for meats (Pima County Health Code)
Valid Food Handler’s Certification (required)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to dress code
High school diploma or equivalent (culinary training preferred)
