Horseback riding may be what first brings many guests to White Stallion Ranch, but it’s rarely the only thing they remember.
Throughout the week, there’s always something happening around the ranch. Try your hand at archery or axe throwing, join one of our guided desert walks with local plant experts, meet some of the Sonoran Desert’s fascinating wildlife during our critter shows (a longtime guest favorite), or enjoy an art class, line dancing, and other seasonal activities. We’re also excited to be introducing experiences like wine and whiskey tastings, yoga, and sound baths with the herd.
The ranch is designed for guests of all ages, making it an ideal destination for multi-generational family vacations. While some family members head out on horseback, others may spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool, browsing the library, playing a game of pool in the lodge, or enjoying our sports courts.

Nestled against the Tucson Mountains, mornings begin with horseback rides through the Sonoran Desert, evenings end beneath a sky full of stars, and it’s easy to forget you’re only minutes from the city.
If you’d like to spend an afternoon exploring, you’re close to some of Tucson’s favorite attractions, including the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, local western shops, art galleries, and plenty of places to pick up that perfect pair of cowboy boots or a souvenir to take home.
Then, when the day is over, you return to the ranch.
